Graduated from the University of Manchester with a BA in Economics (1999), worked in finance, qualified as an investment manager, lost my dad tragically when i was 26 and quit the well paid job (sadly no large inheritance) Used my savings to start a business tracing missing heirs to inheritance called 'Kin', bought a couple of buy-to-lets, let out my own place and rented myself a nice little flat in Mayfair bc i figured wife and kids later in life might stop that! Built up Kin to a decent size - hired 25 ex-cops and 20 very bright graduates - cracked several previously unsolved multi-£m international cases held by the Treasury (our fees were %) but eventually forced to cash out due to internet and websites making the research too efficient / easy / competitive. Paid the taxes and took the money from Kin to build an HMO portfolio in Reading 2012-2013 whilst PM'ing a couple of other residential projects in London (basements, Grade II). Got thoroughly bored and drove my wife crazy 2014 and by Xmas decided to do anything and everything to get to the next level bc it wasn't happening fast enough. April 2015 started MM19 and by Sep 2015 had also started PPN Knightsbridge with "the other crowd". In March 2016 i sold all my HMO's in Reading, benefitting from the proposed extension of Crossrail (i'd bought before that was the plan - though it always looked feasible), then beefed up my team in London to build "the ultimate deal finding machine" that uses all of my tracing skills to find the best home grown off-market opportunities in and around London, as well as the very best deals we can find via the agents in town. We're buying 1 flip a month at the moment; buy for £1m sell for £2m, buy for £2m sell for £4m with target profit on cost of 20% and the pipeline is growing rapidly. Add me on Facebook, LinkedIn.
