| Bio | I have wanted to get into property investment for a long time, pretty much since I was a teenager. Due to limiting self-beliefs and without knowledge of what is possible, I have always believed that it is something I will do 'one day'. Of course, 'one day' never came - at least not in the sense I was expecting or hoping for which was working hard, earning enough money to have surplus to invest in property and building up a portfolio. What happened instead was in April 2016 (nearly 2 months ago at the time of writing this), I attended a free seminar by a well-known property investment training provider (not PIN). Suffice to say my mind was well and truly blown! I signed up to a further 3-day course on the day but immediately after leaving the seminar I started researching to educate myself more about this world which I have just had a glimpse of. I haven't stopped learning since and in fact, my development journey is accelerating. I joined the pre-launch Mastermind Local programme and had my first workshop yesterday. I have set myself a really tough goal during the day. I will have replaced my income and left my current job within 2 months. As they say, your goals are not big enough if they don't scare you, and this goal scares the living daylights out of me! As I'm writing this and reflecting on the task I have set myself, I have a feeling of trepidation but more than that, I have an enormous drive of wanting to make this happen and I am tremendously excited about doing it. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge, meeting more people, making more connections and exploring more opportunities. I'm looking forward to see what the future holds. We create our own luck. It's my turn to be lucky. I'm making it happen. I am currently focusing on low-capital strategies, i.e. rent-to-rent, lease options and sourcing deals in Sunderland. I will change focus in future to asset-accumulation strategies. I would encourage anybody to get in touch if they want to explore potential JV opportunities, especially if you are cash rich but time poor. |
