I lost my passion for it in 2009 and left the industry in 2010. I've been a private investor since 1997 and hold a portfolio of investments in businesses in travel, technology, hotels, security & commercial property. In February 2012 I decided to go into the property sector and joined MM11 in April 2012. I had no prior experience in property aside from buying & refurbishing my home in 2007, which feels like a distant memory! Initially for the 1st 18 months I strictly focused on two strategies: 1) High end multi-lets for professionals in Canary Wharf & the Docklands - these now provide very high cashflow with little ongoing effort as they are fully managed. 2) Joint venturing with successful developers on development projects to learn as much as possible Jan 2014 onwards: My development business finds, funds, structures and executes £500k to £2m GDV projects in Central, Inner & Greater London.
