I was born in Mexico of British ex-pats & have been lucky enough to live in various countries before settling back here in the UK after Uni. I've spent 7 years living the corporate life at IBM & Burroughs before starting my own business (Checkpoint Security) on the dining room table in 1985. This business was sold in 1999 and I retired for 3 months. Want a bit of advice? - don't do it! Retirement is for the birds. My current company is Twofold Ltd who are a successful mailing and data capture company. The management team effectively run it while I have time to freelance & help people & companies analyse their data so business leaders & owners can make informed decisions about their businesses. This gives me a chance to call myself a Business Intelligence Consultant! In November, I attended Simon's 1 day Quickstart progamme before going on the Accelerator course in February. Since then it feels like someone has opened the gate & I'm off running! I'm married to Catherine who is not only awesome but works as a Special Needs teacher! She is involved in property as much she can be... watch this space... and between us we have 6 children & 5 grandchildren
